SCRIPT Funding workshop (EOI's close 8 August)

Seeking Innovative Ideas

The SCRIPT project is well advanced, and we want to ensure we optimise our resources ($1 million over three years) to deliver innovation and entrepreneurial activities, events and outcome-oriented capacity building across the Sunshine Coast region – resulting in more jobs and a boosted economy.

SCRIPT is seeking innovative project ideas by 8 August 2018 to be considered for the first in a series of “co-creation” workshops to encourage further collaboration, facilitate new connections, identify potential partners, and refine project concepts.

Don’t worry, if you don’t have an idea or project proposal ready to submit by the 8 August, there will be another submission date and co-creation workshop in a couple of months’ time.

Selection of project ideas for this workshop will be undertaken in three steps:

  1. Submit an enquiry form for assessment.
  2. Eligible projects will be invited to attend the workshop being held on 23 August 2018.
  3. Following the workshop, promising projects will be invited to submit a full application/business case to the Steering Committee*.

*Please note: attendance at the workshop does not automatically guarantee funding through the #SCRIPT program.

  • Project ideas (via enquiry form) due by Wednesday 8 August, 5.00PM
  • Invitation-only workshop: Thursday 23 August, 5.00PM

To be competitive, projects must align to one of the following priority areas:

  • Smart Cities
  • Food and Agribusiness
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Sustainability and Environment; and
  • Creative Industries

Projects that demonstrate regional benefits, validated demand, and long-term sustainability are more likely to be funded. Co-funding from the project applicant will be highly regarded.

Please complete the Online Enquiry Form or alternatively, download the Enquiry Form [Word 100KB] and email it to

Contact Regional Innovation Coordinator (RIC) Coby Sullivan if you have any questions or 0400 646 906.

SCRIPT will continue to accept applications on an ongoing basis (read more). The next co-creation workshop will be held in November 2018.
